Register for a Brooks Free Library CLAMS Card
Library staff will try to create your new card for you with a turn around time of 1 business day. Please note, our scheduling is subject to change as the Town continues to adapt its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Registering for a Brooks Free Library CLAMS card gives you the following:
- A CLAMS card that allows you to borrow items from Brooks, as well as other CLAMS libraries on the Cape and Islands (CLAMS is the predominant network on Cape Cod that most major libraries are a part of)
- Access to online services through Brooks Free Library. Each CLAMS library offers different online services whose access is tied to their individual CLAMS card numbers. With a Brooks Free Library CLAMS card, you'll have access to all of our resources in our eLibrary, including Hoopla, Consumer Reports, Heritage Quest, etc. For a full list, see http://brooksfree.wpengine.com/elibrary/

When the library is once again open to the public you will be able to come in and pick up your card at the Circulation desk. Until then, if you have any questions, please contact us at brooksfreelibrary@clamsnet.org or 508-430-7562 ext. 1.

Your age range *
Your name: Last, First, Middle Initial *
Birthday (DD/MM/YYYY) *
Parent or Guardian (If under the age of 12)
Primary Address (where you vote) *
**You DO NOT need to be a Cape Cod resident/own property on Cape Cod to get one of our library cards. We ask for your primary address as it is important information for funding purposes when we submit our reports to the state. We will not send you any junk mail. The only physical mail you would ever receive from us is a notice informing you that you have a lost/billed item**
Mailing Address (if different than primary address)
Phone number. Please include the area code. Example: (XXX) XXX-XXXX *
Email Address
**We will never share your email address or use it to send you spam. Having your email address on your account will enable our system to send you automated reminders of when items are due or holds are ready to be picked up. Having an email on your account is also useful if you ever want to reset your PIN from home. The only time you will hear directly from a librarian by email is if you return an item with a missing part or severe damage. By default if you choose not to have your email on your library card account you will receive mailed letters regarding any overdue items.**
PIN *
Your PIN is a short password. It doesn't have to have anything specific in it or be any specific length. You'll use this to login to your account at clamsnet.org, as well as other library resources (OverDrive, Hoopla, etc.). For privacy, your PIN is hidden from our view once we create your card.
