Library staff will try to create your new card for you with a turn around time of 1 business day. Please note, our scheduling is subject to change as the Town continues to adapt its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Registering for a Brooks Free Library CLAMS card gives you the following:
- A CLAMS card that allows you to borrow items from Brooks, as well as other CLAMS libraries on the Cape and Islands (CLAMS is the predominant network on Cape Cod that most major libraries are a part of)
- Access to online services through Brooks Free Library. Each CLAMS library offers different online services whose access is tied to their individual CLAMS card numbers. With a Brooks Free Library CLAMS card, you'll have access to all of our resources in our eLibrary, including Hoopla, Consumer Reports, Heritage Quest, etc. For a full list, see
http://brooksfree.wpengine.com/elibrary/When the library is once again open to the public you will be able to come in and pick up your card at the Circulation desk. Until then, if you have any questions, please contact us at
