Supporting the Female
Workforce CPD (Targeting New or Introduction level to FA Level 1 (Qualified for
12 months or less)- Female CPD Event (International Women’s Day)
Lancashire FA in conjunction with the FA, Sir Tom Finney FC
and Blackburn Rovers Regional Talent Club are hosting a Female CPD Coaching
event on Wednesday 8th March open to ALL Females with a difference
led by our FA Coach mentors specifically employed to support Females who want
support in getting involved in coaching, those who already have achieved the FA
Playmaker and Introduction to Coaching Football (FA Level 1) within the last 12
months.

Topic: STEP Principle and Differentiation in your
coaching
Who is it for? Females who might wish to get involved
in coaching at their club, current Females qualified in BT Playmaker or
Introduction to coaching Football within the last 12 months- This is strictly
for Coaches who are aged 18+ on the day of the session due to Safeguarding
requirements.

Places will be on a first come first served basis and
capacity due to room size is 25 coaches. Please ensure that you are able to
attend so that we utilise capacity.
6pm till 7pm- Practical session: FA Mentors Christian
Clarkson (UEFA A Licence) and Alan Williams (Former FA Skills Coach Team
Leader) will support a Foundation phase session to help Females gain more
confidence in working with younger players and the impact you can have as a
role model.
7pm- 8pm- Classroom session: A chance for attendees
to reflect on the session and the experience.
8pm- 9pm- Observation session: Opportunity for
coaches to observe the coaches working with Blackburn Rovers Girls Regional
Talent club U14’s and U16’s with Alan and Christian tasking the group with some
observations linked to general coaching characteristics with group work.
