⚠️ PLEASE READ : What is a business case? What do we mean by "practice business cases with other students after the event?"
1️⃣ In the majority of consulting firms (at least in the Big4 and in MBB), you will have to pass so-called "business case" interviews. These interviews are usually one-to-one between you (i.e. interviewee) and a consultant (i.e. interviewer). You will usually have a case with a question that you will have to "solve" in a discussion with your interviewer.
2️⃣ In order to be successful in a consulting case interview and to get an offer, there is no secret: you need to practice! And practice means doing business cases with other students who have received an offer, consultants (if you know some) or students who are interviewing at the same time as you. Usually, the preparation for this type of interview is long and requires to do WITH someone between 15 and 40 business cases. There is no exact number, it depends on each person. Each business case lasts about 20 minutes, count 1 hour if you are the interviewer to a student and then the opposite.
3️⃣ This workshop "How to ace a consulting case interview #2" is primarily intended to put you in contact with other students who want to prepare themselves in November. We therefore limit the group to 30 people so that you can easily meet and practice after the event. So you will understand that this is not an informative event (for that, here is an article
https://aftersolvay.be/2020/05/09/how-to-prepare-business-case-interviews/). The workshop #3 will be held in the end of November. There will be other workshops in Q2.
