Summer 2024 Strength-Speed-Agility
The St. Peter Summer Strength & Conditioning Program is coordinated by Doug Boyer, High School Strength and Conditioning Coach. Coach Boyer is also teacher in the district and runs the summer program along with Assistant Strength Coach Brock Hanson.

Core Purpose: To prepare student-athletes to be Champions.
Student-athletes enrolled in the St. Peter Summer Strength, Speed and Agility Program will be challenged to develop physically and mentally. Training will emphasize safety and will focus on seven Pillars:

Strength /Speed Mechanics / Agility Work / Flexibility / Proper Nutrition / Recovery / Character & Leadership

Those students who enroll in the St. Peter Summer Strength, Speed and Agility Program and pay the appropriate fee will be able to lift during their assigned session, be able to participate in the speed and agility workouts before their strength workout and will receive a specific strength plan that they will follow for varsity sports. Younger athletes and students wishing to work a general strength program will be led through a workout daily.

Athletes will be led through each session with a daily goal of meeting the seven pillars of the program in a healthy and safe environment. This is NOT OPEN LIFTING, athletes WILL follow prescribed workouts that are carefully designed to improve their strength, speed, and agility over time. The weight room has rules that MUST be followed for everyone's safety. Students who do not follow these rules will be warned or removed, parents will be notified as to why. The weight room is not a playground.
