The Bright Futures grant program invests in students post-secondary success by providing tuition grants for Weld County high school grads, GED recipients, and Veterans who want to pursue a college degree or certification. Students who are a resident of Weld County for 2 of their 4 years in high school, one being their senior year, and complete the additional requirements are eligible to apply. Through a secure portal provided by Bright Futures, Weld County high schools submit two files, one in October, and one following graduation that send the following information to Bright Futures:
* Student Full Name
* Student State ID
* Student Birthdate
* Student Race/Ethnicity
* Student Gender
* Student Mailing Address Including County of Residence
* Student School Counselor's Name
* Student Household Mailing Address, Phone, Email
* School Name
* Student GPA and Weighted GPA
* Student Start and End Date at Applicable Weld County High School
* Student Graduation Status
If you would like Weld RE-4 to submit your student's information, you do not need to do anything further.
If you would prefer that Weld RE-4 NOT share your student's information with Bright Futures (which may thereby render them ineligible for the Bright Futures Grant) please complete the form below.
