City Council Meeting on November 2
Hi everyone,

THIS IS THE DECISION DAY.  The time has come for us to show that we are still commited to this project. On Monday, November 2, the City Council will vote on whether the city should continue work on the Regnart Trail and also discuss what fencing the local neighbors are demanding as part of the project. THIS IS THE LAST PLANNED VOTE, SO NOW IS THE TIME TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!

We have been told that the number of speakers will impact how councilmembers will likely vote. The anti-trailers will all be there, speaking against the trail or asking for a million or more dollars for concrete walls to increase the project costs beyond sustainable. If we want the trail to move forward to construction, we need to be there too.

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO SPEAK - We need as many people to speak as possible. Each person only gets 3 minutes, and most people read a prepared statement (we can give you a full one if you like), so it's quick and stress-free. Please sign up to speak below and get everyone in your family to sign up as well, especially kids because the city council really pays attention to kids. We have had kids as young as 6 speak and they made a huge impact.

The meeting is on Zoom, so you can wait comfortably in your own home and go about your life until it is time to speak. You are not on camera, so there is no need to dress up.

IF YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE SPEAKING - Please send an email show your support. You can also mention you are on the call if someone else in your house is speaking.

THE MORE PEOPLE THE BETTER.  Let's show them how many residents want this trail!
