MONOLOGUE AUDITION Auditioners MUST prepare a monologue that is no more than 60 seconds long from a Shakespeare play. It can be either a comedy or Drama. It is ok if you don’t have any Shakespeare experience. I just ask that you try. I will help you in the process and don’t expect perfection. I am just looking for your willingness to play with Shakespeare’s words. Beginning/non-identifying actors are welcome as long as they are willing to dedicate their time to the production with full commitment.

I am looking to develop a collaborative and inclusive space for actors to create a joyful and exciting production.

* No teleplays, screenplays or passages from novels or song lyrics will be accepted. No original writing. The monologue should best portray the actor’s strengths and can be of any genre. Monologue must be memorized.

HEADSHOT AND RESUME These are requested, though not required. Bring 8x10 headshot and a resume outlining training and performing experience for acting, dancing and singing.

CALLBACKS Callbacks are Wednesday Feb 9th from 6pm-9pm. Callbacks are by invitation only. Those who are called back will be given readings from the text. Therefore, it is advised to be familiar with the script which will be available to actors.
