The School Department plans to form a School Facilities Master Plan Review Committee to review a Facilities Space and School Facilities Master Plan study draft prepared by Habeeb and Associates. The final report will be presented to the School Committee with recommended next steps, including a rolling schedule of school department renovations and new construction needs, with an established timeline of when major projects should take place. We expect that this committee will meet once per month, with additional meetings of its subcommittees and the project will likely conclude in 3-4 months. The members of this group include representatives from the School Department and other town boards, and the School Committee seeks a community representative to join.
