Applicants must complete this application in its entirety to be considered for acceptance as a Participant in the SocEntChi Incubator Program. Most promising applicants will be interviewed by the SocEntChi board and given an opportunity to discuss their business further. Acceptance and participation is afforded at the sole and absolute discretion of SocEntChi.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be an owner of a social enterprise: for-profit, nonprofit and hybrid ventures deploying earned-revenue strategies to create positive social, economic, and environmental change. The social enterprise must do business somewhere in the Chicagoland area, which includes Northwest Indiana, Central and Northern Illinois, and Southern Wisconsin.
Requirements:
Participants the incubator will be required to spend 3-4 hours per week, for 6 months on activities like learning new concepts, crafting their business plan, and be available for coaching by SocEntChi board members.
