2023 Miss YCHS Contract & Application
Dear Parents/Future Student Contestant,
Your daughter has shown an interest in participating in the Miss YCHS pageant.  Contestant Information Packets are available outside in the YCHS main office, in the YCHS Media Center, and on www.missychs.com.  Please read over the packet carefully with your daughter, so that there is both student and parental understanding of all requirements, guidelines, and protocols.  

As the parent/legal guardian of the contestant, or as the participant, I do hereby agree to abide by the guidelines, policies, and expectations as set forth by the Miss YCHS Pageant.  I understand and agree that should an act of God (earthquake, fire, storm, snow, inclement weather) cause the cancellation of the pageant, that the event will be cancelled without refund.  I understand that the judge’s decisions are final.  I understand that good sportsmanship is required at all times.  I understand that poor sportsmanship, poor school attendance, poor academic standing, and the poor moral character as stated in the packet will result in disqualification without refund and forfeiture of any awards received.  I agree that all fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.  

By registering my student as a Pageant Contestant I hereby consent to have my student photographed, videotaped, and/or interviewed while at school and/or community functions.  I understand that this media may be used as publicity for the Pageant in the local newspapers, school/district website, Miss YCHS Facebook page, or other electronic/digital/print media.

We will note the pageant rehearsal schedule and other important dates, and will plan now to attend all pageant practices and the dress rehearsal.  Any conflicts will be resolved by myself before the week of pageant rehearsals.  We understand that failure to attend practices and meet deadlines may result in dismissal from the pageant or a portion of the pageant.      

We understand that if the contestant listed below is quarantined on the day of the pageant, the contestant will not be able to participate (see packet).
