Dunstan Reserve Food Forest - Working Group expressions of interest
The Dunstan Reserve Food Forest in Brunswick West is a collection of fruit trees and other edible plants, both exotic and native, established over 15 years ago as a community resource. Being fully open to the public, it goes beyond the typical community garden model and is an unusual space in Melbourne.

The Food Forest is managed by Moreland Community Gardening (www.morelandcommunitygardening.org), with activities coordinated by Food Forest Working Group, which is a sub set of the West Brunswick Community Garden (WBCG) Organising Committee.

The group is involved in:
- organising day to day maintenance activities;
- planning and running events;
- promoting the Food Forest;
- deciding what to plant;
- collecting data about the Food Forest's activities.

Working Group members can tailor their involvement to suit their particular interests. Time commitments are flexible, but for most people involve about 1 hour per week, with a meeting every 1-2 months. The Working Group is in regular contact with the WBCG Organising Committee, who provide guidance and administer funding for materials/events, and is also supported by MCG's Community Gardening Coordinator and Board members.
