Power to Persuade: Empowering Women with Disabilities to Influence Public Policy
The information on women with disabilities engaging in the political process is not available anywhere. Women, in general, face numerous barriers in accessing the political process in Pakistan. Women with Disabilities in Pakistan face multiple barriers where stigma, discrimination and lack of opportunities hinder their social inclusion

Special Talent Exchange Program (STEP) in collaboration with IFES has initiated to implement the Power to Persuade program and aims to provide a comprehensive training to 100 women with disabilities across Pakistan.

The program "Power to Persuade" empowers women with disabilities with the skills needed to influence public policy and advocate for equal rights and in so doing, increase their participation and representation in political processes and decision-making.


Eligibility Criteria:

1) Must be a women with disability
2) Must have access to a smartphone or a laptop
3) Must have access to internet
