Please complete this form to register your interest in participating in an IRB driver course at Fairhaven SLSC this Easter!

Places in each course will be strictly capped at 8 people to maximise candidates' opportunities to get time in the IRB. Participants will be selected based on their previous involvement in patrols, training and club activities.

We aim to run the course over the Easter weekend in 2022. There will be 4.5 days worth of theory and training.

We want to run the course in the form of a camp which will be run out of the bunkhouse, however, depending on COVID restricitons at the time, this may be subject to change.

To apply, you must currently hold your Bronze Medallion, IRB Crew award, and be at least 17 years old on the day of assessment. You will also be required to attain your VicRoads Boat Licence before the course commences. Please note that this process can take some time to get through in terms of VICROADS bookings so if you're please keen get onto it ASAP. You must also have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine by the course commencement date - this is required by Life Saving Victoria for participation in any lifesaving activities.

Further course information will be sent closer to the date.

We are open to people of all ages, as long as you hold the prerequesite qualifications, you are encouraged to apply!
