Dear Colleague,

We want to thank you for your interest in being a part of the Meet the IAU Astronomers! programme.

In this form, there are a few questions that will allow us to best match you with the requests from our community of outreach professionals and educators around the world.

Once you complete this form, we will send you more detailed information about the programme, and validate your membership with the International Astronomical Union. Once we receive a request that matches your profile, we will contact you - so it may take some time for you to hear from us. As not to overburden you, we will request no more than four events per year. The details of this application are valid until 1 July 2023. After this date, we will contact you again to renew or update your participation in the programme.

Before you continue in this form, please note that we kindly ask all participating astronomers to provide a short survey after the meet-up. This allows us to better assess the programme and improve its impact. Further, we ask astronomers and organises to follow IAU’s Statement of Anti-harassment Policy (IAU Code of Conduct/Part B: Anti-harassment Policy for IAU Meetings and Activities - https://www.iau.org/static/archives/announcements/pdf/ann16007a.pdf - page 6).
