Russell Towns Open Competition 2023
1st & 2nd April 2023

Venue: Claymore Swords Club rooms, top floor, 106 Bond St (Cnr of Police St and Bond St), Dunedin

Entry fee: $20 for the first weapon, $10 for each additional weapon. Payable online to Fencing South or cash at the time of registration.

There will be separate men's and women's competitions if entry numbers allow.

Note: This event is not a FENZ ranking event and as such the format of the competition may not follow the standard format. We will assess the format closer to the time once numbers have been confirmed and try to organise the event to give everyone as much fencing as possible.

Timetable:

Saturday 1st April
Foil - Registration 9.00am to 9.15am. Fencing commences at 9.30am

Sunday 2nd April
Epee - Registration 9.00am to 9.15am. Fencing commences at 9.30am

If you are feeling unwell on the day of competition PLEASE STAY HOME and do not fence. Inform the tournament organiser and you will be given a refund of your entry fees.

In the event that a change of COVID Alert level means we have to cancel the competition you will receive a entry fee refund.

Tracksuit pants are acceptable.
Lame bibs and mask clips are required for foil.
