The Long Beach Green Schools Campaign is a student-led initiative working to transition LBUSD off of fossil fuels in the electricity sector by 2030, and in all energy sectors, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), cooking, and transportation, by 2040.  The campaign has teacher, student, and parent representation from Poly, Millikan, Lakewood, CAMS, Helen Keller, Hughes, Longfellow, and IVA! If you are interested in joining the campaign, please check out the Long Beach Green Schools Campaign website and please fill out the interest form below. We are always looking for the support of additional community members, students, parents, and teachers!

Long Beach Green Schools Core Meetings
Every Monday, from 6-7 PM, members of the Long Beach Green Schools Campaign meet online in order to discuss upcoming events and strategies for the adoption of a 100% clean energy resolution at Long Beach Unified. Attending these meetings is the best way to get involved in the campaign. All are welcome and there is not pressure to attend regularly!
