The future of Tangle

In the next few months, I am making a big push for more subscribers and will be moving over to paid subscriptions (for a low-cost, monthly fee). I'm hoping to refine Tangle now, and cater it to what readers want. Please take this short poll to help me shape the future.

I'm considering a few additions to Tangle. Please read these short descriptions below, and let me know which you'd most like to see. You can vote for more than one, a combo of each or "none." If "other," please elaborate

"Meet your member" -- every day, or every Thursday, a brief description of a member of Congress. This will be a short bio, a piece of legislation they are associated with, a photo and any interesting facts. This is a way to inform you about who serves in Congress.

"Long read" -- every day, a suggestion for a long form story that I read recently that I really enjoyed. This is something you would click out of the newsletter to read. The latest example was the story from Harper's Magazine about the underground market for hitmen.

"Local hit" -- every day, I'll highlight a small local story that has larger implications for the country.

None -- I like the length of Tangle, and I don't want more stuff in my inbox.

Combo -- these sound interesting, but I wouldn't want them every day.

A Friday wrap-up where I highlight all the big stories covered in Tangle that week, plus add in any news that has happened since Thursday morning. This would not be a standard Tangle format, but a recap in case you missed the week's newsletters.

An option to listen to Tangle at the top of the newsletter. This would be me reading the newsletter so you can listen to it while you drive, work out, ride the subway, eat your lunch, etc.

Original deep-dive stories that focus on one single topic, but still use the Tangle voice.

Interviews, either written or audio, with people involved in politics.

None -- the amount of content I get now is just right.
