Becoming a Teen Mentor is a rewarding opportunity! You will make a difference by mentoring young girls to lead while being mentored yourself by an Adult Mentor and our directors. The time commitment is approximately 5 hours a month.

Getting To Know You
This section is an opportunity for us to learn about you; understand why you want to be a Teen Mentor and how our Adult Mentors can best support you!
Please tell us about yourself. Include anything you feel will give us a sense of who you are as a person; what makes you tick, what you like to do and what your goals are. *

Why do you want to be a Teen Mentor and why should we choose you? *
In the Lemon Aide Society, your role as Teen Mentor will be one where you are being mentored while you are also mentoring younger girls. Our goal is to work with you also to help you grow into a better leader. Please tell us about areas that you feel may be perceived as weaknesses as it relates to the role of Teen Mentor.   *
With respect to your weaknesses, please let us know ways you feel that we can help you grow in these areas especially as they relate to being a Teen Mentor. *
We will have chapters for girls in grades 2-9.  Please let us know if you have a preference as to which grades you think you will be best with. We typically place Teen Mnetors in our 2nd-5th grades.
We do our best to schedule monthly weekend chapter meetings based on our participants availability.  Please list any commitments that you have on Saturday and Sunday’s throughout the year and/or any dates that you know that you will be unavailable from August 2024-May 2025.  Once the calendar is set, it is our expectation that you will attend all meetings and make this commitment a priority. *
Teen Mentorship Sessions
Teen Mentors help facilitate monthly leadership trainings for their chapter’s project leader. The expectation is that our teen mentors attend 3 out of 4 of these training sessions.

Session 1- Approximately 15 minutes following a regularly scheduled chapter meeting.
Session 2- Approximately an hour *
Session 3- Approximately 20 minutes*
         *Session 2 and 3 typically occur on a weekday between 3:30-8:00pm scheduled on Zoom.
In order to best schedule training sessions, please list your anticipated weekday availability/conflicts.   *
By checking the box below, you are committing to fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.  Responsibilities include:  attendance at monthly Sunday meetings; attendance at monthly staff meetings; leading mentoring sessions with Project Leaders each month and any work necessary to be prepare for meetings. *
