SUNYLA's Future Librarians Day
SUNYLA is happy to ask you all to join us virtually for our first annual Future Librarians Day (FLD) on April 21, 2022 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm EST.

What is FLD?
FLD is an event that allows students in Library and Information Science (or those interested in academic librarianship) to learn about the various career paths available in academic libraries directly from librarians currently working in the field.

This event will consist of three moderated panels and will end with an hour long break out session where participants can ask even more questions to our panelists. All panelists are current SUNY Librarians.

Collections & Archives (subject specialists/liaisons, archivists): 9:00 am - 9:45 am
Public Services (reference, access services, information literacy): 10:00 - 10:45 am
Tech Services & Systems (electronic resources, cataloging, acquisitions, etc.): 11:00 am - 11:45 am
Breakout Lunch: 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Register for this event here: https://tinyurl.com/37cyc8hs

We also ask that you feel out the short questionnaire below - this will help us to make this event the best it can be! Thanks!
