Use the Online Report Portal (ORP) to report low priority information or late reports which do not require an immediate officer response. Emergency calls or calls that require an officer to respond or retrieve items must be reported by calling 911 (emergency) or 605-498-5577 (non-emergency). The ORP does not replace the emergency and non-emergency system for creating case reports. Response to ORP submissions may be several days.
If the incident did not occur within the city limits of Tea, the ORP is not an appropriate place to make a report. Please contact the agency having jurisdiction where the incident happened.
To ensure thorough investigation/documentation of your incident, please provide as much information as possible, including a detailed narrative describing circumstances, property lost or damaged, value, etc. Upon review, if further investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted.
Examples of information to share through the ORP include missing property or animals, late report traffic complaints, speed trailer requests, or community engagement requests. You can choose to remain anonymous with your report. If you choose to remain anonymous, please consider that enforcement will not be possible unless an officer observes the behavior.
