2024 UMN Juneteenth Raffle or Swag Form

Event Theme: "We are the Noise: The Echoes of Our Ancestors"
Juneteenth is a celebration of abolition, Black freedom, Black joy, Black history, and Black futures. This year’s event will be centered around disruption, reverberation, and amplification—focusing on uplifting of Black voices. This free community event will host live performances, workshops, a poster showcase, free food, giveaways, art-making, roller skating, and an interactive kids zone.

This form is to express interest in participating in this event by way of raffle item or swag bag stuffer. Form submission and raffle/swag bag commitments should be made by May 31st, 2024.

Raffle Item Requirements: 
  • Item is Valued at $50 or More
  • Item Fits the Event Theme
  • Examples Include: Dinner and tickets for the Dakota Jazz Club; Theater tickets (such as Northrop, Penumbra, The Guthrie) featuring Black performers/themes; Collection of Poetry Books by Black Authors; Artwork or prints portraying notable Black Poets, Activists, and social figures (James Baldwin, Audre Lorde, Nina Simone, etc.); Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or other sound-related tech gifts; Gift certificate to Black owned bookstores; Game Tickets; Items for youth/children; etc.
Swag Bag Stuffer Requirements: 
  • Must Have 1000 qty of Item
  • Items will Contribute to the Joy and Well-Being of the Black Community
  • Examples Include: Informational Flyers/Pamphlets; Buttons; Announcements of Events/Classes; Hand Sanitizer; Bubbles; Fans; rubber wristbands; lip balm, mini first aid; etc.
