Welcome to Helford River Gig Club.

If you have not been a member of HRGC previously, you are allowed a maximum of three taster rows to see whether you enjoy rowing with us.

If you wish to continue after three taster rows (and we hope you will), you must join the club buy purchasing a membership on our website.

Former HRGC members: You are allowed a maximum of three rows a year at £5 a row, which you will need to buy via the website, as the guest of a current club member*. If you wish to row more than three times, you must rejoin the club and purchase a full membership via the website.

Life jackets are available for any rower who can't swim or feels more confident with access to one. Please advise other crew members if you have any concerns in this regard.

All information will be treated as confidential and only accessable by our Communications Officer and committee members in charge of your care.

For MEMBERS hosting a former club member as a guest rower:

In hosting a guest rower, you are responsible for:

a) ensuring that the guest rower completes thei online form before rowing;and for:

b) ensuring they pay their £5 per guest row fee through the websiter.

You are also responsible for the conduct of your guest during the rowing session

This does not apply to me as I am a new rower
