Prior to adoption, the prospective owner must complete an adoption contract and provide such information as address, telephone number(s), drivers license number and a photo ID, a copy of which will be attached to the contract. You must also agree to keep the cat inside. If you rent, you must provide proof that pets are allowed. The adoption fee is posted with the pet listing on the website.

To adopt a cat, you must first complete the application form below. A Second Chance for Strays representative will then contact you to help match you to a cat if you have not already selected one from the website. A meet and greet time will be arranged for you to meet the cat(s) you are interested in.
