Thank you for your interest in the Hugh Cairns Surgical Society mentorship programme for 2021-22.

We are aiming to pair medical students interested in surgery with surgical trainees/consultants to give students more exposure to their specialty of interest and to increase their understanding of surgical training and the application process.

We are also hoping to incorporate a research project/audit element to hopefully give both student and mentor a tangible outcome of the programme and would appreciate details of any such projects that you might have available.
