Lion King Kids Musical
Our production of Lion King Kids welcomes children between the ages of 5  to 12.

You do not have to be a student of The Singing School to be a part of the production.

We welcome all levels of performers, and encourage students from various studios to participate.

i.    The production rehearsal will take place from April to June at Unit 4 - 20 Crown Steel Drive, with performance in Theatre End of June 2023
All lead roles are expected to attend mandatory rehearsals, and learn all music ahead of time.

ii.    If selected as Lead or Supporting Role, you will be notified within two (2) weeks of auditions.

iii.   If selected as Lead or Supporting Role, you will be asked to sign a letter of commitment, media release form, a safety waiver, and pay a non-refundable fee of $600.00 if you are not enrolled in any group classes. If you are enrolled in a group class, your non-refundable fee is subsidized, and lowered to $275.00. This fee will cover the following:
  1. Hardcopy actors' script and sheet music
  2. All Main Cast rehearsals
  3. Additional Group Choreography Rehearsals
  4. Costumes
  5. Musical Guide Tracks
  6. Instrumental Tracks
For singers with challenging solo parts, we encourage them to work with a coach in their own time before the first rehearsal date. If the candidate violates rules of the agreement, or fails to sign the letter of commitment in time, they may be removed from the cast and their role re-selected.

I am committed to supporting my child throughout the process of the musical rehearsals by ensuring that they are punctual to all rehearsals, and have all music, lines, dance and blocking reviewed and memorized. If deemed necessary, I will support them in extra private lessons. (We hope all students can independently prepare their parts, but if they need additional support for whatever reason, we are happy to help.) *
