Learn about LaTeX typesetting with the organizers of the Online Undergraduate Resource Fair for the Advancement and Alliance of Marginalized Mathematicians! This workshop will be led by
Alvaro Carbonero, Bowen Li, and
Luke Seaton on Saturday, April 8th at 1pm EST via Zoom. Due to Zoom capacity constraints, we are only able to host a limited number of participants. Thus, we are restricting future registrations to students who are currently studying or have studied in a US-based institution at some point.
The workshop will introduce you to LaTeX and its most important features and uses so that you are ready to write homework assignments, your CV, or research project results. We will also cover more advanced features for those of you that know the basics already. You do not need to have any prior experience. We will be using Overleaf, a free online software.
Tentative Schedule: 1:00-1:30pm EST for a LaTeX introduction, 1:30-2:00pm for advanced LaTeX features, 2:00-2:30pm EST for an interactive session, and 2:30-3:00pm for a Beamer presentation tutorial.
