The Study Station Saturday small group classes are a favorite! We consistently create a learning environment that is engaging, collaborative, purposeful, challenging, but most importantly, FUN! We provide high-quality instruction at fair rates with a desirable student-to-teacher ratio.

The cost of this 8 week course is $225. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $25 due by October 8, 2022 to hold your child's spot. In order to keep rates fair and reasonable we are not able to give refunds or credits for missed classes. We can, however, give you the work missed to stay caught up with the class. The remaining $200 is due by October 22, 2022. Payment plans are available if needed.

All classes are 55 minutes long, for a total of 8 weeks: October 22, 2022 - December 17, 2022 ( We will be closed on November 24th - 26th for Thanksgiving)

Class schedules are subject to change based on demand. We will contact you asap if there is a change in the class(es) you signed up for. If more classes are added and you are on a waitlist we will email you with the new class details.

Fall Saturday Class Schedule: The levels will depend on evaluations for new students and tutor data for current students.

What course (s) will your child attend? *

9am Spelling Level 1 and 2: Teaching students spelling patterns, rules, concepts, and strategies not only grow their spelling and vocabulary knowledge but also benefits them in all aspects of their learning. Learners who feel confident with letters and word patterns are able to read and comprehend more complex texts.

9am Top Secret Decoding: This course is a neuroscience based approach to reading instruction and is designed to help students decode more complex words to become successful readers. Decoding is essential to read. It allows students to figure out most words they have heard but have never seen in print, as well as sound out words they're not familiar with. The ability to decode is the foundation of all other reading instruction—fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension.

10am Camp Comprehension: This class is designed for students that have a solid understanding of reading and need to focus on skills for comprehension. This class will focus on building reading comprehension by learning strategies such as activating, summarizing, monitoring and clarifying, visualizing and organizing, searching and selecting, questioning, and inferring to become a highly skilled reader.

10am Magical Math Fluency: Basic math fluency and automaticity play a crucial role in teaching mathematics. Developing automaticity is a building block for the success of the students in the math classroom. This class is beneficial for students that still need to have their basic math facts memorized.

10am Math Surgeons: This course is a fun hands-on way to understand the process of addition and subtraction with regrouping. During this course students will become math surgeons to gain understanding in the process of regrouping. If regrouping skills are mastered we will continue on to other grade level math standards.
