Program
The program will be co-created on voluntary basis by you and other participants of the retreat and it will be announced either in advance or on the spot. We as organizers will offer basic rules so we as participants can self organized as specified below.

The retreat is not a common family holidays open to anyone who is willing to pay. It is a particular event for meeting supporters of respectful parenting,  self-directed learning & libertarianism. The program, although usually rich and varied, is not primary our responsibility as organizers. Instead, we strive to create safe and motivational environment in which children and adults have the opportunity to discover and search for their own self and without fear of being themselves.
Code of conduct
If you come to stay, we will respect your lifestyle and parenting style, as long as it does not interfere with coexistence with other participants. It is a condition of participation that you respect other participants including our role as protectors of a safe environment and facilitators of a respectful atmosphere for all.

There are usually many situations where the needs of individuals and their wishes collide. We see this as a good opportunity for the whole community to learn to seek consensus and practice respectful and open communication. If someone decides to stay up all night, there is nothing else to deal with other than not disturbing someone else's sleep.

Our perception of ethics is based on the principle of non-aggression (NAP - non-aggression principle). If you are not familiar with it, please read its definition here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-aggression_principle.

If anyone incl. children can't deal with a situation on their own, we are available - you can turn to us for help (advice, intervention, mediation) at any time. For each retreat, we always plan one or more sharing evenings for questions and discussion about living together in the Free Haven’s House.

Ensuring a safe environment in the sense of non-violence and tolerance for differences and diverse needs is the main goal of the retreat. We look forward to all the new challenges and learning from each other. We do not restrict the use of technology (mobile phones, tablets, laptops) during stays. However, we respect any internal rules you may have in your family.
Taking photos and videos
Please note that by participating, we all agree with being photographed and/or filmed. The photos and/or videos can be posted on the internet and/or can be used for the promotional purpose of Free Haven's House.

Nevertheless, if anybody of you feels uncomfortable being photographed and/or filmed, please highlight it at the opening meeting and others will try to respect your will. However, we cannot guarantee that you will not be photographed and/or filmed neither that everyone will remember your choice. Please, be assertive and communicate. Thank you for your understanding.
