2024 Southeast San Diego Science & Art Expo
The 2024 Southeast San Diego Science & Art Expo will incorporate interactive science shows and demonstrations provided by UC San Diego, the Southeast San Diego STEM Ecosystem, and other local partners (hopefully you too!), as well as live musical performances, and art stations.

Some examples of demonstrations confirmed include exploration of engineering/physics behind low-riders and various exhibits that bring together science, art, and culture!

We invite you to get creative, come out, and help highlight the science behind some of the interactions we experience and see daily in our San Diego communities! Thank you for your interest in joining us and sharing some of your excitement, knowledge, and passion for science by hosting an interactive station or presenting a brief lesson explain landmarks or phenomena.

We welcome all activities that can be used to educate our community in any field of science, technology, engineering, math, and art.

This event is designed to inspire and engage the community in STEAM.  Activities and booths should be interactive and provide the opportunity for hands-on learning, ranging from pre-K to adults.

When: Saturday, August 10, 2024, 10 am – 2 pm.

Where: Valencia Park/Malcolm X Branch Library (5148 Market St, San Diego, CA 92114, USA).
