Piggly Wiggly Victory Golf Classic Volunteer Sign up - Friday, April 5, 2024 at Heron Lakes Country Club 
Thank you for offering your time and energy to the Golf Classic. Our aim is to respect your commitment efficiently, hence we've outlined specific areas where assistance is needed to ensure we have just the right number of volunteers. Kindly explore the available volunteer roles listed below. 

All Volunteers
All volunteers will be provided with a Golf volunteer T-shirt, as well as access to food and drinks/water.

Arrival Instructions
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled shift to accommodate parking and navigation to the registration area. Seek out the Volunteer Check-In Station upon arrival. Here, you'll sign in, receive your T-shirt, a water bottle, and directions for your assigned duty.

For Large Volunteer Teams
To ensure the event runs smoothly, we encourage team members to individually sign up for volunteering. This allows everyone to input their T-shirt size and choose the volunteering slot that suits them best.

Last Minute Changes in Availability/Emergencies
Should there be a sudden change in your availability, please ensure you have Kerry Cohen's cell number, 251.599.3902, saved on your phone. In the event of any changes, kindly text or call so arrangements can be made for someone to cover your responsibilities.

Required
GOLF CART DRIVER - SHIFT: 9:45AM - 2:00PM
Offer support and water to volunteers stationed at holes. After the classic concludes, ensure all hole signs/signage and chairs are collected; also assist in transporting volunteers at the event's end.
* Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age and able to lift chairs.
HOLE IN ONE - SHIFT: 7:30AM - 11:00 AM
Two volunteers are tasked with overseeing the Hole-in-One challenge, ensuring fair play for the golfer who achieves a Hole-in-One. Chairs will be provided at this hole for comfort, and a golf cart volunteer driver will be on hand for transportation needs, including restroom breaks. It is advised to wear sunscreen, a hat, and sneakers for protection and comfort.
HOLE IN ONE - SHIFT: 10:30AM - 1:30PM
Two volunteers are tasked with overseeing the Hole-in-One challenge, ensuring fair play for the golfer who achieves a Hole-in-One. Chairs will be provided at this hole for comfort, and a golf cart volunteer driver will be on hand for transportation needs, including restroom breaks. It is advised to wear sunscreen, a hat, and sneakers for protection and comfort.
CLOSEST TO THE HOLE - SHIFT: 7:30AM - 11:00 AM
The volunteer will record the name of each golfer along with the distance their golf ball travels for the hole. Golfers have to pay to participate in this competition. Detailed instructions on verifying payment by golfers and measuring distances will be provided. This position will be stationed alongside the Team Photographer, who will be capturing photos of the teams. A chair will be available for your comfort. It is advised to wear sunscreen, a hat, and sneakers for protection and comfort.
CLOSEST TO THE HOLE - SHIFT: 7:30AM - 11:00 AM
The volunteer will record the name of each golfer along with the distance their golf ball travels for the hole. Golfers have to pay to participate in this competition. TEAM PHOTO HELPER - SHIFT: 7:30AM - 11:00 AM
Assist in guiding teams to the designated area; help the photographer with arranging team members for photos; record team names; ensure every team member receives a card with a QR code for accessing and downloading their pictures. A chair will be made available for your convenience. It is advised to wear sunscreen, a hat, and sneakers for protection and comfort.
VOLUNTEER FLOATER  - SHIFT: 7:30AM - 11;00AM
Remain flexible to step in or offer assistance wherever necessary; for your protection and comfort, it is recommended to wear sunscreen, a hat, and sneakers.
