The event will be on Tuesday, May 14 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Concourse, and an Italian dinner will be provided.
Join Incarceration and Health Justice (IHJ) and Prison-to-Professionals (P2P) for a candid conversation about mass incarceration, race, and barriers to re-entry. P2P is a nonprofit organization that helps individuals with criminal convictions obtain higher education. Dr. Stanley Andrisse, the founder of P2P, will share his journey from being incarcerated to becoming an endocrinologist and assistant professor at Johns Hopkins and discuss his incredible advocacy work for returning citizens. Several P2P scholars will also be sharing their stories.
