Dates of VBS:  June 8-July 3, 2020

Normally VBS stands for Vacation Bible School but this year it stands for Virtual Bible School!  We will be having a VBS at First UMC of Downers Grove.  This program is open to the all children preschool through 6th grade.  It is not going to be just 3 days in August...it is going to be four weeks in June:  week 1:  June 8-12; week 2: June 15-19; week 3: June 22-26; and week 4:  June 29-July 3.  There will be a Bible story as the focus for each week along with crafts, music, science, games and other activities.  Every Monday of you will be invited to drive to the church to pick up a bag that will have all the craft materials and other things needed for the week of VBS.   There will be video's posted throughout the week that will guide you through all the activities of VBS at home.  

Registration is very important to have enough crafts materials and bags ready for pick up each Monday. The cost of VBS will be $10 per child for the 4-week program.  You may pay when you pick up your first bag on Monday, June 8th.
