يركز المعسكر على التعلم من خلال المعايشة في واحد من أقدم أحياء القاهرة التاريخية، هنبدأ كل يوم بجولة في مكان تاريخي أو تمشية في شوارع منطقة الخليفة، بعدها هنعمل تطبيقات فنية وعلمية ولعب جماعية تنمي مهارات الاستكشاف والعمل الجماعي ومهارات فنية وحرفية وشخصية كتيرة.
برنامج المعسكر:
برنامج معسكر أسبوع في الخليفة هو برنامج دسم ومكثف، تتنوع مواضيع الجلسات بين الفنون والحرف والفلك والجغرافيا والبيئة والأساطير والعمارة والبناء. كل ده في ٤ أيام وإجمالي ٢٠ ساعة من تدريبات ولعب وتفاعل مع تراث منطقة الخليفة الثري!
اليوم الأول - أسرار طولون: يوم فني حرفي
جولة في جامع أحمد بن طولون يصحبها لعبة البحث عن الكنز للتعرف على تاريخ وعمارة وأساطير الجامع. يليها ورشة هيتعلم فيها المشاركين مبادئ رسم الزخارف المستوحاة من جامع ابن طولون. ومش بس كده، هيطبقوا اللي اتعلموه على منحوتة جبسية من صنع أيديهم زي اللي هيشوفوها في جامع ابن طولون!
اليوم الثاني - حواديت الكريتلية: يوم فلك وجغرافيا
جولة في بيت الكريتلية للتعرف على عمارته وأساطيره المميزة يصحبها لعبة "بيت الكريتلية حول العالم" اللي هتربط المشاركين بقصة جاير أندرسون وحبه لجمع المقتنيات القيمة من أنحاء العالم. يلي الجولة أنشطة فلكية للتعرف على أدوات قياس الوقت قديما وغيرها كتير.
اليوم الثالث - منتزه الخليفة: يوم بيئي في وسط الطبيعة
جولة في متنزه الخليفة للتعرف على قصة المدينة اللي عايمة على مية، وازاي من قلب المشكلة ممكن نطلع حلول! اليوم هيبقى مليان أنشطة ليها علاقة بالأرض زي الزراعة وتجارب علمية لتنقية المياه وغيرها كتير وهنختمه بنشاط مميز للطباعة بأوراق الشجر.
اليوم الرابع - كنوز الخليفة: يوم الأساطير والحكايات
جولة البحث عن كنز شارع الخليفة ونتعرف خلال البحث على العناصر المعمارية المميزة في حي الخليفة وحواديته وأساطيره.
بعد الجولة هنطلق العنان لخيال المشاركين عشان يشاركوا في عمل جدارية مشتركة عن كل اللي اتعلموه عن المنطقة وكل اللي بيميزها، وكمان هيتعلموا واحدة من أهم الحرف التقليدية المشهورة في القاهرة التاريخية وهي الخيامية وهيعملوا خيامية مستوحاة من تجربتهم!
السن المقترح: من ٧ إلى ١٣ سنة.

The camp's main focus will be experiencing daily life in one of the most historic areas in Cairo. Each day will begin with a tour of a historic site or a walk in the streets of al-Khalifa area. Following artistic and scientific applications and group games aimed at developing exploration skills, teamwork, creative and craft abilities, as well as various personal skills! The camp is suitable for children aged 7 to 13 years old. Take advantage of this opportunity and register now, as the number of spots is limited to ensure a unique experience for our young participants.
Camp schedule:
Al-Khalifa Mini Camp Program is a comprehensive and dynamic program that covers a wide range of topics, including arts and crafts, astronomy, geography, environment, mythology, architecture, and construction. All of this, in just 4 days, amounting to 20 hours of training, playing, and interacting with the rich heritage of al-Khalifa!
Day One – Tulun's Secrets:
Art and Crafts Day
A tour of Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque, and a treasure hunt unveiling the history, architecture and tales of the mosque. Followed by pattern drawing and stucco sculpture workshops.
Day Two - Around the World:
Astronomy and Geography Day
A tour of Bayt al-Kritliyya to learn about its distinctive architecture and myths, followed by the Bayt al-Kritliyya-themed game, "Around the World". Participants will connect with the story of Gayer Anderson and his love for collecting valuable items worldwide. Astronomy-based activities will follow the tour to learn about ancient time-measuring devices.
Day Three – Al-Khalifa Park:
A day surrounded by nature
A tour of al-Khalifa Park to learn about the story of the city floating on water and how the solution lies at the heart of the issue! The agenda of the day will be full of agricultural activities, scientific experiments on how to purify water, and a unique printing activity using leaves from the park.
Day Four – Al-Khalifa Treasures:
A day of Legends and tales
A treasure hunt in al-Khalifa Street to discover distinctive architectural elements in al-Khalifa neighbourhood, its tales and legends.
After the tour, participants will unleash their imaginations as they collaborate to create a mural depicting everything they have learned about the area and what makes it unique through their eyes. Participants will also get the chance to discover the ancient art of khiyamiyya, a significant traditional craft in Historic Cairo, and express their creativity by making their own khiyamiyya creations based on their encounter!
Recommended Age: 7 to 13 years old.
