Working with data isn’t just about knowing python, or decision tree algorithms, or how to query data. It’s also about knowing what to DO with data – how to present it, how to speak to it, how to synthesize your findings into that ONE KEY THING that will satisfy your customers.

In this workshop you’ll perform a hands-on assessment and presentation of a key data finding based on prior research. You’ll have the opportunity to work in front of a business audience, which will include a reviewer from industry. (Tip: showing a future employer that you understand how data functions in support of business goals and how you can help contribute to that is a HUGE bonus for your future interviews!).

This workshop is a continuation of our Robot Training Academy series, Data for Understanding, running Monday nights from October 25th – November 8th.

Attendees will also hear about rel8ed.to's planned 2022 capstone and research project opportunities for UR data science students.
