The Georgetown Palace Theatre, your local non-profit, community theatre is excited to announce that we are open, hosting musical and theatrical productions and would love for you to be a part of it! Our new season will kickoff with Steel Magnolias starting October 9th and will run through November 8th. This will be held outdoors in our Palace Courtyard. We've had great success so far with our outdoor movies and events, with many of them selling out. We fully anticipate the same response to this upcoming play.
Other productions this season include A Tuna Christmas, Almost Maine, Mamma Mia, Sound of Music, The Lion in the Winter, Something Rotten, Biloxi Blues, Wizard of Oz, Singing in the Rain and musical cabarets.
We are now offering digital playbills at our events. Expected viewership of the playbills is 10,000. Attendees are given a small handout with a QR code where they can access our digital playbill, complete with full-color ads and links to websites. These playbills will also be available on our website and social media to further our reach. In addition, we have our online production, The Palace Plays On, which had over 10,000 views the first time it premiered. We have strong social media and email engagement and we welcome partnerships with companies committed to supporting our mission.
