Thank you for your interest in helping out at Safety Town! Following is the list of dates and times for each Safety Town session. We will one again need as many helping hands as we can get to make it successful. Indicate your preferences and if you would like to volunteer for multiple shifts, please mark down which ones. It is always a fun day and the little ones love making older friends!

Be able to come each day of the session that you wish to volunteer.

Be able to arrive at 9:15am, 1:15pm, or 5:15pm as necessary.

Contact FPRD in advance if you are unable to come due to illness or emergency. You may call the Gemini Center at 440-356-4444 x 102 to leave a message. This is very important. The children and staff depend on you.

Help other volunteers and staff with set-up and clean up each day. (Art activities, cars, bikes, etc.)

Be cooperative when working with students, volunteers, and directors.

Know the names of the people who are picking up the students each day.

Know where your students are at all times. Please hold hands in your group when moving from place to place inside and outside the building.

Tell supervisors if any students are ill, need to use the restroom, or need special attention.

Emphasize keeping our hands to ourselves and using kind words at all times. If any students are having trouble listening to directions let us know.

Listen carefully during times when lessons are being taught by our instructors or any special guests. There may be information for you in those lessons.

Remember the students are watching all you say and do! We are sure you will be great examples to the students.
