All funds raised will have a 50/50 split. 50% will go directly to support NorthStar, the other 50% can be directed to any of the options below. If there is a Durham-based org that aligns with NorthStar's mission and values (uplifting the arts and supporting social justice) that you do not see listed here that you would like your funds to go to, please contact us at: info@northstardurham.com and we can look into adding them to this list.

This is what our parade commentators will use as talking points when your parade is on camera. Tell us as much as you can now, and you can update later. What materials might you use? What is your inspiration for this float concept? Will there be a vehicle? What is the make and model? Is there a work of art (visual, poetry, song) that your float is inspired by? Is your float a tribute to a person, place or thing? Will there be music playing? Anyone performing? Any remarkable dimensions or innovations? Tell us anything and everything!

Any important messages, quotes or words that you want us to specifically feature when your float comes by?
