2022-2023 Educator of the Year Nomination
Nominate a Willard educator for Educator of the Year for the work they have done for Willard Public Schools.

A nominee can be any Willard staff member who holds a teaching contract. These include classroom teachers, counselors, instructional specialists/coaches, library media specialists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, etc.

The deadline to nominate is Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Please note that after the nominations have been received, anyone who was one of the finalists in the previous year will be removed from consideration. Also, anyone who has received the award in the past five years will also be removed from consideration. If you are not sure if someone has been a finalist or received the award, please nominate them anyway and we will double check.

The nominations will be reviewed and narrowed down through a process until we have nine finalists for Educator of the Year. Those nine finalists will be announced at the April 10 end of year awards celebration.

Please remember that these nominations are judged by a committee and can only go by the information that is submitted.  Therefore, a quality nomination that contains specific examples of how and why this person should receive the award is better than a nomination without it. Give specific examples of how they have made an impact through their teaching on the lives of students, and how their teaching/impact on students both in the classroom and throughout the community could be used as an example for teachers all over the district and throughout the entire state.
