Returning to Help the Workforce Shortage
RSVP for March 2nd Healthcare Worker Rally - https://forms.gle/sS5m7oFRAQCz9Ajf9

It is over 4 months since the revocation of HED 12/21 (QLD Health's vaccine directive). Our hospitals are still in crisis, but many of our members are reaching out expressing difficulties with securing positions. This is despite the Health Minister, Shannon Fentiman emphatically stating that you are welcome back.

We are sending an open letter to Minister Fentiman along with Shadow Health Minister, Ros Bates with a list of health professionals who are ready, willing and able to work for QLD Health and Private Sector to help this workforce shortage.

Our strength is in numbers. Hospitals may be able to get away with individually denying you a position, but they cannot deny hundreds of you across multiple health services and hospitals!

Shannon Fentiman needs to make her direction to Health Services clear.

Let qualified health professionals come back to work!

Yourself, fellow healthcare workers and a legible sign with only your profession and how many years experience you have written on it in bold.

Please RSVP here so that we can anticipate attendance numbers.
There are options for those unable to attend in person, but attendance would be greatly appreciated!

Are there more than 100s of workers absent from the healthcare sector?
ANMF Federal Secretary, Annie Butler, has said that she believed the number of nurses missing was in the 100s NOT the 1000s.

We know that this is definitely not the case and are hoping that with your help we can prove how many healthcare workers (nurses, midwives, paramedics, doctors etc) were affected Australia wide.

If you are or have been absent from healthcare sector due to the mandates please complete this survey.
