The MD-SERI Emergency Relief Grants for Main Street Communities.
The SERI funding will support small businesses and other economic recovery efforts in both the state- and Baltimore City-designated Main Street communities. Through this relief, more than 5,000 businesses will be eligible for support from their local Main Street program.

HLMS has created an objective process for determining which applicants are eligible for a grant. The State-funded SERI grant will be administered by HLMS. An impartial grant review committee will review and award need-based grants on a rolling basis until funding is exhausted.

All application information disclosed to HLMS will be kept strictly confidential and not be sold or otherwise released to any entity other than requirements for complying with grant reporting for this grant.

Grants are one-time awards with no repayment due. Each business entity is eligible to receive up to $1,000.* If additional funds become available, businesses that are identified as high-need may apply for another grant.

*not a guaranteed amount, contingent on eligibility, need, and available grant funding
