Causeway Participation Form
The Tech4Good Lab is seeking students to try out Causeway, a platform that enables individuals to learn web development while working on real-world projects and supporting community causes. In Causeway, individuals progress through small roles that are actual contributions to a larger project rather than simply topical textbook problems.

We are looking for students of any major and level of experience in web development. If you would like to participate, please fill out this form and we will reach out to schedule a time that is convenient. If you have any questions about the study, feel free to contact Veronica Rivera at veariver@ucsc.edu.

This is part of an ongoing research project at UC Santa Cruz aimed at facilitating large-scale volunteer engagement for non-profits. Our purpose is to understand how to empower individuals to contribute to societal issues they are passionate about, and to provide tools that enable non-profits to efficiently coordinate a volunteer crowd to advance solutions for social good. In order to improve the tools we build, we will be collecting information from you when you participate. Any information collected will be kept confidential and only released in aggregated form or used anonymously after obtaining consent from the volunteer. Participation in this study is limited to individuals above 18 years of age. Participation is voluntary and can be stopped at any time. You are free to not submit data at any point in time.
