At Ridgeline, we use Google Workspace for Education, and we are seeking your permission to provide and manage a Google Workspace for Education account for your child. Google Workspace for Education is a set of education productivity tools from Google including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Classroom.

At Ridgeline, students will use their Google Workspace for Education accounts to complete assignments, communicate with their teachers, sign into their Chromebooks, and learn 21st century digital citizenship skills.

Please read this carefully, let us know of any questions, and then sign below to indicate that you’ve read the notice and give your consent. If you don’t provide your consent, we will not create a Google Workspace for Education account for your child. Students who cannot use Google services will need to work with their teachers to find alternatives to signing into Chromebooks, submitting assignments or collaborating with peers. This may result in additional steps and complication for your student to submit digital assignments and collaborate electronically with peers on projects.

Wayfinder wellness curriculum was created out of the Stanford Institute of Design. Wayfinder set out to ask one key question: How can they reimagine adolescent education to develop a student's sense of meaning, purpose, and belonging? Ridgeline is partnering with this curriculum to support not only the intellectual development of your child but also your child's social growth and wellness.

Wayfinder provides individual notebooks and online resources to allow students to take wellness surveys 2-3 times a year to view trends across our school that will help inform our SEL instruction and provide insight on how to support our students better. In addition, students have access to weekly questionnaires called Waypoints. These Waypoints take less than 10 minutes to complete and provide information to teachers indicating their students' social, emotional, and wellness needs, allowing teachers to plan, structure, and design SEL activities intentionally during community learning time.
