Thank you for your interest in participating in our Halloween Trunk or Treat! This is a fun, free, family event. We have BOUNCE HOUSES and a few picnic games to go along with the fun! To make this event even better, we need our community to get in on the fun! Listed below is information and guidelines that will need to be followed to make this a fun and successful event.
Trunks
Participation in handing out candy is FREE! We want to squeeze in as many awesome trunks as possible! To make this more exciting and eventful for the kids, all our trucks must be decorated so lets get into it!! Do a theme or dress up if you'd like! For example; if you're doing vampire theme, maybe make your trunk look like a haunted castle and dress up as Dracula handing out plastic fangs!
Treats
All cadies and edible treats passed out at this event MUST be prepackaged and factory sealed. This means no homemade goodies, sorry. Small Halloween trinkets and toys are also acceptable. Please plan to have enough 'treats' for approx. 800-1,000 kids!
Trunk Decorating Contest
All our 'trunks' will have the option to participate in a trunk-decorating contest for a $5 fee! We will announce the prizes as soon as possible, however, we hope everyone will enter to help support our wonderful Parks Dept. How it works: all 'trunks' paying the $5 fee will be given recognition at Trunk or Treat as a participant (a sign in front of your display or something similar). All trick-or-treaters will be given ballots on which the can cast their vote for BEST trunk display.
This event cannot happen without the participation of local businesses and churches! Please consider setting up a booth and meeting new people in the community by joining us at the Frisco Train Head for one of the most anticipated events of the year! If you are unable to participate, we need candy donations. Please consider buying a few bags of candy and dropping them off at the Rec!
