Guilt-Free Book Club
Each semester, the CTL chooses a book for our Guilt-Free Book Club. The Book Club is Guilt-Free in that participants are encouraged to attend, even if they haven’t done the reading or have missed prior meetings.

This fall (2022), the CTL will host a guilt-free book club for our 7 colleges. We will be reading What Inclusive Instructors Do: Principles and Practices for Excellence in College Teaching. We will meet every other week, starting September 6th, from 12 - 1 PM. The Tuesday meetings will be in-person, and the Wednesday meetings will be virtual. The book is available at: https://ccl.on.worldcat.org/oclc/1245960947 or we can order you a physical copy.

The dates are:
September 6th and 7th, Preface and Chapter 1
September 20 and 21st, Chapter 2
October 4th and 5th, Chapter 3
November 1st and 2nd, Chapter 4
November 15 and 16, Chapter 5
November 29 and 30, Chapter 6
December 13 and 14, Chapter 7 and Epilogue

The Tuesday meetings will be held in the Honnold Conference Room on the second floor of the Claremont Colleges Library. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.

Is there something in particular that you hope the facilitator will bring up during the meeting?
I will mostly attend on (you're free to attend either, or switch back and forth throughout the semester!) *
Is this the first time in Fall 2022 that you've RSVP'd for a CTL event?
