Suaka as an organization served to provide rights protection and legal services for refugees in Indonesia. SUAKA sees that in the current global situation, access to justice for refugees is important. Unfortunately, the availability of Indonesian legal service providers with the knowledge of refugee context in Indonesia is limited.
This training is designed to empower refugee to understand the legal context in Indonesia. Participants could help and defend themselves and the community in terms of legal knowledge when they are facing the law and there is only limited source available. Participants also could share the knowledge gain from this training to the community.
Therefore, we cordially invite the refugee community activists/leaders to join the Community-Based Paralegal Training: Empower Refugee for Access to Justice.
The registration is open until 7 July 2019 at 24:00 Jakarta Time.
Participants need to be the age of 21 years old, by the start of the training date 27th of July.
DUE TO RESOURCES CONSTRAINT, WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT APPLICANTS RESIDES IN JAKARTA, BOGOR, DEPOK, TANGERANG, BEKASI AREA.
The participants selected to join the training will be announced directly through email on 9 July 2019.
