Amara Valley Volunteering Program
ย OPEN APLICATIONS: First Semester of 2023 (February - July)

Volunteering with us requires your availability 5 days a week between 5 to 6 hours a day. If you have experience in permaculture, carpentry, cooking, cleaning or gardening, it is something that we appreciate, even though it is not necessary. It is more important that you know how to cultivate positive interpersonal relationships, that you have a proactive attitude, that you like nature and bring all your willingness to participate in various ways. For example:

- ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’Š๐’๐’•๐’†๐’๐’‚๐’๐’„๐’†: Helps with various repair or construction tasks.
- ๐‘จ๐’ˆ๐’“๐’Š๐’„๐’–๐’๐’•๐’–๐’“๐’†: Plant, cultivate and maintain gardens. Take care of the chickens.
- ๐‘ฒ๐’Š๐’•๐’„๐’‰๐’†๐’ ๐’‰๐’†๐’๐’‘๐’†๐’“: Assist our โ€œAmara Kitchenโ€ with cleaning and organizing.
- ๐‘น๐’†๐’•๐’“๐’†๐’‚๐’• ๐’”๐’–๐’‘๐’‘๐’๐’“๐’•: Help with cleaning common areas for guests.

The activities are adapted to the needs of the day. They depend on the retreats in progress and the number of people available each day. The day before retreats, the main focus is on preparation (making beds, cleaning common spaces, etc). On retreat days the support will be oriented to help our "Amara Kitchen" with cleaning, and the rest of the days is distributed around other projects that we carry out to hold the maintenance of the site.

By coming to Amara Valley as a volunteer you will have access to our 10 hectares of nature where you can take time for yourself. Additionally you have:

ย  ย โ—ˆ Single bed in a shared room (two or three people)
ย  ย โ—ˆ All meals included, vegan and vegetarian options
ย  ย โ—ˆ Internet access in the main house
ย  ย โ—ˆ Yoga classes
ย  ย โ—ˆ Access to facilities: Pool, Sauna, Meditation Room, Yoga Shala
ย  ย โ—ˆ Participation in some events. (Conditions apply)

Flights, travel insurance, personal insurance, internal transport, visa.

Once you have your spot guaranteed, to formalize your volunteering, you must issue a payment of 80โ‚ฌ as a guarantee. This deposit will be fully returned once your volunteer period is over. In case of cancellations, the amount of the guarantee will only be returned if the cancellation is made at least 10 days prior to the start of the volunteering.
