Where did you complete 8th grade?
CORE CLASS-English *
English 9 or Honors English *If you enjoy English and want to work at a faster pace on more complex projects, select Honors. Candidates for Honors typically have had A's in their 8th Grade English Class. Honors English Students will also participate in a summer assignment. STUDENTS MUST ALSO COMPLETE SEPARATE APPLICATION.
CORE CLASS-Math *
Math 1 or Math 1 Honors *If you enjoy Math and want to work at a faster pace, select Honors. Candidates for Honors typically have had A's in their 8th Grade Math Class. TO BE IN HONORS - STUDENTS MUST TURN IN TEACHER RECOMMENDATION FORM
Spanish-Foreign Language (Only if you are taking Honors English)
You will be placed in Spanish if you are selected for Honors English. This will replace one of your electives. It's fine to wait until you are a sophomore (2-3 years are required to attend a 4 year college)
OTHER CLASSES YOU DON"T PICK
All freshmen will be enrolled in:-- Biology; Minarets C's; PE (two years required)--THAT LEAVES YOU ROOM FOR 3 ELECTIVES
ELECTIVES - Year long classes, PICK CAREFULLY
ELECTIVES - One might be Spanish. PLEASE PICK 5 - 2 will be Backups
Electives - Choice #1 (You Will Get 3) *
ELECTIVE CHOICE #1. Pick the elective you MOST want to have. Elective classes are year long courses so choose carefully!
