Rover Training and Travel Subsidy form
Application for Subsidy of travel to, and attendance of, training courses for rovers. 

Conditions: 
  • The Subsidy will only be available for Trained Participant (TP) level courses and higher (Safe Participant (SP) level courses will NOT be subsidised).
  • The Rover Scout must not be obtaining any other subsidy for the course (e.g., if your Group/ District/ Region is already offsetting the cost of the course, you are NOT eligible to apply for this subsidy)
  • If eligible, the subsidy covers 50% of the cost for courses costing up to and including $100. For courses costing greater than $100, a subsidy of $50.00 will be given.
  • The Rover Scout must be granted the skill qualification prior to applying for future subsidies.
  • Applications for this subsidy are limited to 4 applications per Rover Scout, per calendar year.
  • Upon completion of this application, a copy will be sent to the QBRE Training Officer. Once your training has been confirmed by the Training Officer, they will pass contact details to the Finance Officer who will be in contact for payment details to process the reimbursement. 
  • The Training Officer has discretion to reject a subsidy application on reasonable grounds.
