The Anderson University (IN) School of Music, Theatre, and Dance Summer Dance Intensive is open to middle school, high school, and college students, and includes training by Anderson University faculty as well as guest instructors and professionals. The week long program focuses on developing well-rounded dancers through exposure to a wide array of dance disciplines - with an emphasis on ballet and modern techniques.
Students can expect to dance every day from 9am until 6pm and revel in a comprehensive curriculum that includes ballet, modern, jazz, tap, yoga, Pilates, pointe, partnering, global dance, improvisation, and repertory. An informal in-studio performance highlighting their accomplishments will be offered at the end of the week for parents and friends to enjoy.
