Many people avoid or dread political conversations with friends, family members, and colleagues whose politics differ from their own. Many attempts at political discussions devolve into arguments and result in hut feelings, anger, and increased partisanship.

This Skills for Bridging the Divide Workshop, led by Braver Angels staff, will teach skills for having respectful conversations that clarify differences, search for common ground, and affirm the importance of the relationship while giving participants a safe environment to practice those skills.

Any Hill Staffer interested in having better conversations with people on the other side of the political aisle is welcome. Please invite your colleagues and friends.
